i took a moment today and looked over old photos. i can't believe how much time flies. i am amazed at how much brody comprehends now. every stage has been my favorite. here a few examples from this week.

i hit my leg tonight while getting in the car at our friends house and brody says.."i will hug you to make it feel better."

i was laying in bed with brody the other night about 2am, which is VERY rare. brody was up coughing and coughing. so i gave him some meds and lay there rubbing his back. he rolls over, grabs my arm and says "mom you smell good"..what?

i got brody ready for school the other day with some super new cords and a long sleeve shirt and right before we got ready to leave he looks at me and says.."mom, i don't want to wear these pants, i want sweats."...a boy after my own heart. so we changed his clothes.

i asked brody the other day how he knew that i loved him. he says "cuase i'm smart."
