today brody was struggling to fall asleep for his nap so i decided that i'd go upstairs and rock him a little. you know - calm him down a bit and maybe by chance he'd fall asleep. rarely, if ever does brody fall asleep in my arms. so i picked him up and brought him over to the recliner in his room and start singing 'twinkle twinkle little star'..his favorite song right now and rocked him. he started to rub his eyes, yawn and calm down. i though to myself... huh..he might just fall sleep. as i finished the song, i wondered if a miracle had occurred - could he really be out? ....but no.. he started to move his arms up from under his body and he clapped for me and said 'more.' i couldn't help but laugh.
and just for stephanie's sake..i did end up putting him back in his crib and he put himself alseep :)

And for Stephanie's sake...
someday those babies are going to be large, super skinny and not so cuddly and you'll miss having them *occasionally* fall asleep in your arms.
