.time for an update.

life sometimes picks you up and then sets you down a few months later. i feel like that's what happened with blogging - and life for that matter. i am assuming most of you know and keep in contact so i'm not going to spill all the trials of the last 12months but lets just say, God is Good. it's funny how winter has hit outside but i feel like the sun is starting to shine on my life again. trials make you stronger but seriously who really enjoys them!

so - the latest is that i've been offered a position at University of Phoenix and I'm very excited about the opportunity to return back to education. I'm going to be working in enrollment. as an added bonus i'm going to be able to get my masters for free! super good news there! i've always wanted to get my masters and right now is a perfect time. we are not going to be thinking about another child for another year or two and brody is starting to become more independent so the timing couldn't be better. ok it could but lets be honest with ourselves, you need to take opportunities when you can!

for those of you who have been praying about my lawsuit situation..the matters have been settled. it is finished. everyone can move on. done.

i went to vegas with 3 other girlfriends last weekend. we had a blast. it was my first time and although i didn't meet lauren conrad (i don't think she was in town but it would have been fun) i settled with jerry springer - see below.

brody is growing everyday. everyday he does something new that surprises me...
like pulling the chair over to the fridge to get water from the dispenser or brining me the remote and saying BOB... he mimics everything brian does, which keeps brian on his toes!!

i'm attempting to get on the blogging bandwagon again. more to come as we head to corvallis for the beaver game this weekend!
