Update on the Thomas'
- Brian left D.R.Horton on Monday - Huge Hooray. D.R. Horton had it's place in our lives for a season but we are both glad that the season is OVER! He is taking the month off to take some classes and get his insurance certification. He will start in May with Country Financial selling insurance and retirement stuff. Need insurance? He can help! We are very excited to both have Monday thur Friday jobs and WEEKENDS OFF!!! Again Hooray. We are looking forward to weekend trips to Corvallis and spending time together as a family! Praise God for his faithfulness and opening doors for our family during these economic times.
- Brody is doing well. He has 4 teeth up top and 2 on the bottom. He is feeling better and worked through the horrible cold he had a few weeks ago. He is walking EVERYWHERE! There is nothing better than having your child walk to you with their arms up..melts my heart!
- Me? Well, my work did some staff reductions this week that I survived. Another Hooray. Building a book of business has been a challenge in this economy but my pipeline is being filled so hopefully a few things will come together. I have enjoyed painting some walls and settling into our house. The day we moved in I found out I was pregnant and therefore started that journey (puking, napping and just feeling like crap) and then Brody's arrival kept me busy. Now that we have settled into life it's been fun to pick out wall colors and really move in!
So what's next on the Horizon? The Portland Zoo..if you had made it through this entire post you are a true friend! And you are invited to the Zoo with us (weather permitting) on April 18th for PACKY's Birthday Party...http://www.oregonzoo.org/Events/elephantastic.htm.....!!! FUN!! We are actually getting zoo pass this year so anytime you want to go and hang out let me know!
Let's raise our glass and toast to the first Thomas family weekend....and it looks like the weather is going to be great!
