Last night I had a dream. In my dream I was living in a house semi-close to the ocean on stilts. So obviously in a danger zone. A big storm came in and the waves started to get bigger and bigger. I was there with my dad and we decided to get out and as fast as we could run was as fast as the waves would come. We never went under but they just kept getting bigger and bigger. Tsunami? I woke up when all of a sudden my dad had a scooter and we decided to get out of town. Not sure where the scooter came from.
Do you think this had anything to do with the "white noise" cd that I have playing in Brody's room of the ocean all day and night? I turned it up yesterday deciding that it needed to be louder. Last night was the first night I could clearly hear it in our bedroom.

That is a weird dream. I don't think it is because of the CD I think it means you need more sleep. Maybe the tsunami is the fact that you have had a huge change in your life. But what the heck does the scooter mean?!
I've had tidal wave dreams for years and part of it is always trying to get my kids to safety or holding onto both of them as tight as I can as the wave comes over us. Never fun to wake up from those ones.
Tidal wave or tsunami dreams can symobolize wanting to protect a vulernable family member, or a period of emotional upheaval.
Our dreams can take a very weird turn when we become mothers and even though the kids might not always be in the dream, alot of time fears or concerns about them seem to creep into our minds while we sleep. ( one more awesome thing about mommyhood)
Got any soft forest sounds CD's to play for awhile though? :)
