I went to the doctor today and barely any change from last week.
I have been telling myself the last 9 months that I am NOT going to be early - you know mentally preparing myself not to get too excited too quickly. With things progressing so well the last few weeks I got my hopes up that I would birth the little man early. Looks like I will see my due date come and go Thursday. I'm a little disappointed in myself and that I got my hopes up so much. Seriously, it's my first - aren't you normally late on the first? Why would I think I would be any different? So - I did what any girl would do - I came home and had a bowl of ice cream and I'm going to take a nap. I have a few small projects I will work on this week to keep me busy. And if labor comes then we will take it! I'm still having contractions.. I refer to them as rumblings, kinda like aftershocks but before the earthquake!
God knows, apparently he is not done yet with his little miracle inside me.

Keep your head up! Who knows, it could happen tonight :-) Are you still keeping up your walks twice a day? Praying that you get rested and energized for labor. Can't wait till it comes!
I am looking forward to getting that text message that you are on your way to the hospital. I just know it will happen any day and you will be able to sleep on your stomach again soon. Sending good thoughts and prayers your way...
abby, i am still walking, sammie and I have developed a routine that is working well for us :)
I'm still praying for you! Believe it or not that little guy will be here before you know it! Get lots of rest now because he's going to be so cute you aren't going to want to put him down!!
Come on baby Thomas! I'm soooo excited for ANY moment now when he's going to come! (I started labor on my due date so if he's like Em it will be tomorrow!) But also, you're right God does know the timing and just rest/relax as much as possible. Can you sleep? I know I was pretty much an insomniac by this time...
