Overall I would consider myself a pretty happy person. I don’t consider myself having seasonal depression of any type. I love Oregon and living here and the winters don’t bother me. In fact I love a good storm. I don’t see rain as a nuisance; I understand it makes the trees grow and the grass green. BUT when we get a few sunny days like we had yesterday and today I realize how much I really am affected by the weather. Yesterday I felt so refreshed and happy about seeing blue skies. I don’t need blue skies everyday, I’m just grateful to have them every now and then, that’s all.

I'm with you - I don't mind the drizzle that is Oregon. It's the green that's more important to my state of mind. But I too was delighted with the uncommonly sunny February weekend!
